A Major in the Human Service Education Division at Missouri Valley College has the option of participating in the American Humanics Student Association (AHSA). The AHSA provides students with professional and social co-curricular opportunities with the intent of enriching the student’s leadership potential and competency in the field of Human Service in conjunction with American Humanics,Inc. Opportunities include a fall retreat, an awards banquet, special evening planning, community service, fund raising, field trips, workshops and seminars. A national Management Institute is held annually for Junior and Senior students wishing to broaden their learning experience (AHMI).
