Justin Wiest

Justin Wiest is a figurative artist who tries to weave interesting technique with subtle, and sometimes ambiguous, content. He is comfortable in working with simple motifs and expanding them into more complex compositions and series. His working process involves many drawings, oil sketches, and false starts. He enjoys the creative progressions that are less linear and more exploratory. Justin has recently exhibited in California, Connecticut, New York, and Maryland. He is a guild member at The Silvermine Arts Center (CT) where he teaches as well.
