sebbenJay Sebben

President, EDC Technology
Principal, Fultonbridge Partners LLC

Jay Sebben has spent most of his professional career balanced between the challenges of corporate finance and the thrills of entrepreneurship. Jay has been involved in numerous start-ups and related financings as well as participated in several buyouts of existing companies over a 15 year career. What started as a traditional career path has led to a very unique and interesting road which continues to be actively explored.

Jay began his career with KPMG LLP in their audit practice, eventually moving to their Corporate Transactions group (now publicly traded BearingPoint) where he was a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Information, Communications and Entertainment (ICE) practice. Jay left KPMG to join the corporate development team of True North Communications, Inc., then a $2 billion publicly traded marketing services company, where he helped to execute on nearly 20 small and mid-size transactions over a two-year period. Jay left True North to found what became Fultonbridge Partners LLC; a boutique merchant bank focused on hands on advisory and investments in a variety of business segments. In addition to his role as principal of Fultonbridge, Jay presently serves as a Director for Nature’s American Co. and enjoys day-to-day duties as President of EDC Technology, both investments of Fultonbridge. Jay is a CPA and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Finance from The University of Iowa and resides near Chicago with his wife and three children.
