Brian Hammons

President & CEO, Hammons Products Company

Brian Hammons is president and CEO of Hammons Products Company in Stockton, Missouri. He is the third generation leader of the family company, which was founded in 1946. Hammons took over the reins as president of Hammons Products in 1997, and in July 1999 was named CEO of the company.

Hammons Products Company is the leading commercial processor of American black walnuts, purchasing nearly 24 million pounds of wild black walnuts every year. The walnuts are shelled and the nutmeat is sold as a food ingredient. The hard nutshells are used as an abrasive for machine cleaning, filtration and oil drilling mud. Hammons previous experience in the nut industry includes managing Hammons' subsidiary, Ellis Pecan Company, in the mid-90s before successfully selling the company.

Hammons holds degrees from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri and Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas.

Beyond the company, Hammons currently serves as conference lay leader for the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church. He also serves on the board of directors for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Community Foundation of the Ozarks and served a six year term on the Board of Governors of Missouri State University.
