Resolution Reuse, LLC

After graduating from high school, Joshua K. Ruble attended Missouri Valley College where he double majored in human service agency management and recreation administration. He was active in Sigma Nu fraternity, serving as Commander his senior year, and American Humanics. Upon graduating in 2004 Joshua began his career at the Rainbow Center for Communicative Disorders in Blue Springs, Mo., serving as the recreational therapist and development assistant. In 2006 Ruble joined the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization as director of operations for its donation center.

In September 2009, Joshua and a business partner started Resolution Reuse, LLC. The company provides a no cost, turn-key solution to recycling used clothing, shoes, toys and books. Resolution Reuse handles all the logistics from placement of bins and weekly pick-up schedules to promotion. Through established networks, Resolution Reuse distributes discarded clothing around the world to people in need. Since January 2010, Resolution Reuse has kept approximately 8,701,519 pounds of clothing and textiles out of Kansas and Missouri landfills. In the last three years, Resolution Reuse’s non-profit partners in Missouri and Kansas have received over $465,297 in payments and donations.

Today Resolution Reuse, LLC works with 450 organizations in seven different states and is one of the largest companies of its kind in the region.
