Blind since birth, Judy is an inspiration and community advocate for the disabled. As often as she could, her TV and radio shows featured interviews about disability advocacy issues. She serves on the Wolfner Library Advisory Council in Missouri. Several years ago, she served as public relations chair for the Task Force for Fair Transportation and was a member of the St. Louis Leadership Forum.

From December 1987 until July 2007, Judy hosted and produced The Christian Connection, a 30-minute weekly TV interview show aired in the greater St. Louis area which featured guests from all over the world.

She was the first blind person to host a weekly TV show and has produced and hosted approximately 760 TV shows. Those shows also aired on several other stations in Missouri and Illinois. A radio version of this show also aired on the Here's Help Radio Network, as well as on internet radio. Today you can listen to it every Monday on internet radio at Click on the mainstream channel and listen to it with your favorite player. In 1995, Judy began producing and hosting a weekly radio show called Cry Justice. This show also aired on the Here's Help Network until July 2007. It still airs on internet radio on Wednesdays at
