To register a game console you must first obtain the MAC Address from the system. If you have not yet registered a computer you can register your console yourself at the Campus Manager Network Registration Page by clicking on the "Game Console" link. If you have already registerd your computer use the information below to obtain your Wired MAC address and then use the link below to register your console:

PlayStation2

To find the MAC address of your Sony PlayStation 2 you will need the Network Adaptor connected to the PS2 and you will need the disc that came with the Network Adaptor. Then follow these steps:

  1. Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.
  2. Once it has loaded, select "ISP Setup" and press X on your controller.
  3. The ISP Setup will begin to load, and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X to continue.
  4. For connection type, choose "Local Area Network (LAN)" and press X to continue.
  5. Select "Automatic Configuration" and press X to continue.
  6. At the connection test screen, select "Advanced" and press X to continue.
  7. At the "Advanced Broadband Settings" screen, make sure "Automatic" is selected. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address at the bottom.

Some of the PS2 games also have the ability to list your MAC address, but the above steps are the Help Desk's preferred way of finding the MAC.

PS3

To find the MAC address of your PlayStation 3 (PS3):

  1. Navigate to "Settings";
  2. System Settings .
  3. System Information
  4. View Information on the PS3 system. MAC address is listed on this screen.

XBox

To find the MAC address of your XBOX:

  1. Turn on your Xbox console with no game disc in the disc tray.
  2. From the Xbox Dashboard, choose Xbox Live.
    These steps assume you cannot connect to Xbox Live until you finish configuring your Xbox console to use your PC's MAC address. Therefore, you should receive the following message: "Could not connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to troubleshoot your network connection?".
  3. From the Connect Status screen, select Settings. The 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the Network Settings screens is the MAC address of your Xbox console. Do not change your Xbox console MAC address, just write it down and call us.

XBox 360

To locate the MAC address of your Xbox 360 console:

  1. Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard and select Network Settings.
  2. Select Edit Settings.
  3. From Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings.
  4. At the bottom of this screen you'll see a heading called Wired MAC Address.

GameCube

To locate the MAC address of your GameCube console:

  1. Remove the GameCube's broadband adaptor from the GameCube unit.
  2. Printed on the underside of the adaptor is a MAC address. It will consist of alphanumeric characters and have the format
    xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.
