IT on the Web - Campus Manager Info

Prepare for Campus Manager PLEASE

MVC is generally a Windows based network, however we just implemented a new MAC lab in the basement of the Ferguson center.

Macs that have virus portection installed are able to connect to the Valley network.

To prepare joining the Valley Network please take the following actions.

  1. Please install an anti virus program to protect yourself and your fellow Vikings. Many are free of charge! Please explore the list.
  2. Please ensure all Windows Updates are Installed on your computer.
  3. Although peer to peer software is popular it is not recommended!

Once you arrive on campus and plug in your computer you will be asked to register your computer.

  1. Connect your computer to the Network.
  2. The Campus Manager Registration Page Should Appear.
  3. Click on the MVC Users Link.
  4. Enter your MVC username and password.
  5. Select a device type.
  6. Download and Run the CSA Client.

I followed all the instructions above and The Networkstill won't let me SURF. Please follow both links and attempt to solve the issue.

  1. You may have a static IP address.
  2. Missing Drivers or Disabled Hardare Issues.
