Adam Ybarra came to Missouri Valley College in 2010 and was promoted to Head Athletic Trainer in 2011. Adam graduated Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a minor in Spanish before becoming a graduate assistant at the University of Missouri. While at Mizzou, Adam provided athletic training services to the University of Missouri football team while obtaining his Master’s in Health Education Promotion. Adam has served two stints in the NFL as an athletic trainer. His first was a summer intern with the San Diego Chargers in the summer of 2006 and was a season-long intern with the Carolina Panthers during the 2009-2010 season. Adam is responsible for the comprehensive health care of the football and men’s basketball teams at Missouri Valley College. Additionally, Adam is an instructor in the School of Nursing and health Sciences at Missouri Valley College. Adam and his wife Elise, who works for the Sedalia Police Department, currently reside in Marshall with their English bulldog Hurley.
