Originally from Ghana, West Africa.
Educated in the US at Huntington College in Huntington, IN; University of Wisconsin- Madison in Madison, WI; and American University in Washington, DC.
Taught at Messiah College and Elizabethtown College (both in Pennsylvania) as Assistant Professor of Sociology and African Studies before coming to Missouri Valley College in the fall of 2002.
Dr. Tetteh is Assistant Professor of Sociology . His academic and research interests are:
- Social Change
- Sociological Theory/Social Thought
- Global Sociology/Political Economy of The World System
- International Development/Third World Studies
- Minority Relations/Race and Ethnicity/Social Inequality
- Multiethnic Societies and their Development
Dr. Tetteh is a member of the American Sociological Association (ASA). His special interest in the ASA is Political Economy of the World System (PEWS).
