Peggy Sherman is an Assistant Professor of Education at Missouri Valley College. Peggy received her B.S. in Elementary Education and Library Science degree from University of Central Missouri. Peggy also holds certification in Early Childhood. She completed her M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lindenwood University in 1998.
Peggy pioneered the first Preschool Program at St. Peter's Catholic Elementary School. She has taught Early Childhood Special Education (Grades Prek-3rd) as well as teaching at the elementary level. In addition to being a classroom teacher, Peggy has been the director of a 74-child preschool for the past five years as well as began an infant/toddler program in Marshall, Missouri.
Mrs. Sherman founded a Birth to Five Professional Conference entitled "The Care Conference" for the Marshall area as well as co-founded the Birth to Five Council. She has been published in the Creative Teacher magazine. She is married to Randy Sherman, has four children and resides in Marshall.
