John McLean, Ph.D.John L. McLean has a B.A. from Davidson College, 1972; an M.A. from University of North Carolina, 1974; and a Ph.D. from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 1980.

McLean is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Publications include: The Poems & Plays of Thomas Wade (Whitston, 1997), the first collected edition of the works of a forgotten English Romantic poet; and 24 articles in scholarly journals and literary reference books.

His teaching/research interests are in British and American poetry, drama, and fiction, composition, journalism, and business and professional writing skills.
