Charles Ed Leslie has a B.S. from Missouri Valley College, 1961; an M.S. from the University of Missouri--Rolla, 1963; and additional post graduate study at Iowa State University and the University of California at Santa Barbara.

He is a member of the American Mathematics Association; Sigma Zeta National Math/Science Honor Society; Kappa Mu Epsilon Math Honorary; and the American Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).

He has been named Who's Who Among Students in Colleges and Universities, 1961; Outstanding MVC Alumnus, 1981; MVC Athletic Hall of Fame, 2000; Who's Who Among Teachers. and has received the McCallum Excellence in Teaching Award, 1993;

He has published with the UMR Press. His reseach/teaching interest is in Algebra; Calculus; Linear Algebra; Abstract Algebra; Numerical Analysis; Differential Equations; and PC Maintenance.
