I have a doctorate in History from Auburn University (Alabama), a Master of Arts degree in Southern Studies from the University of Mississippi, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Franklin College of Indiana. I taught at the University of Georgia at Athens, the University of Findlay in Ohio, and Franklin College of Indiana before coming to Missouri Valley College in the Fall of 2002.
I am a member of the Southern Historical Association, the American Historical Association, and the American Association of University Professors.
