I am a physiological ecologist that is interested in working with both birds and reptiles. I enjoy physiology as it provides the most thorough answers to many questions concerning how animals interact with their environment. I received my masters from Missouri State University. At MSU my research was focused on reptile and plant physiology as I explored seed dispersal by aquatic turtles. I am currently finishing my PhD at the University of Arkansas. My research at the U of A is focused on avian energetic and life histories of sea birds in the Gulf of Maine.
At Missouri Valley, I teach Anatomy and Physiology I, Anatomy and Physiology II, Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, Principles of Biology, and Environmental Science.
