Jennifer Eimers earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Georgia (2008), an M.A. in English from Creighton University (2001), and a B.A. in English from Grand View College (1999). She currently teaches American literature, composition, Ethnic American literature, and literary criticism. Henry James, late nineteenth-century American literature, and Southern literature rank high on her list of research interests. Her scholarship is published in the Henry James Review (2002), Searching for America: Essays on American Art and Architecture (2007), and Blackwell's A Companion to Henry James (2008). Her book, The Continuum of Consciousness: Aesthetic Experience and Visual Art in Henry James's Novels, is forthcoming from Peter Lang Publishing.
