 Jon
Duke has a B.A. in Public Service and Administration from
the University of San Francisco and earned a M.S. in Criminal
Justice from California State University, Sacramento.
Mr. Duke is a consultant for the Excelsior College Criminal
Justice Training Assessment Program. He is a member
of the Missouri Sheriff’s Association and the Site
Coordinator for their Law Enforcement Training Academy at
MVC. He is also an advisory member of Lambda Alpha
Epsilon, American Criminal Justice Association on campus.
Jon Duke has many year of experience in the criminal justice
field and has worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Los Angeles
County and Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Offices, San
Joaquin County as an Investigator, and Soledad Prison as
a correctional officer. Prior to teaching at Missouri
Valley College, he was an adjunct instructor at San Joaquin
Delta College.
Mr. Duke has been nominated by his students and is listed
in the fifth, sixth, eighth, ninth, and tenth editions of “Who’s
Who Among America’s Teachers”.
