Marilyn Belwood has a B. A. in Mathematics from Southwest Missouri State University, Springfield, MO, 1974; an M. S. in Statistics from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, 1976; an A. A. in Graphic Design from Lane Community college, Eugene, OR, 1987; a B. F. A. in Painting and Drawing from University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, 1987; a B. F. A. in Painting and Drawing from University of Oregon, Eugene, OR; and a Ph. D. in Educational Psychology with a specialty area in Statistics and Measurement from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL, 1997.
In addition to teaching, she serves as Director of Institutional Research. She is a member of the American Educational Research Association, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Association for Institutional Research. She is the recipient of the 2007-8 John C. McCallum Excellence in Teaching Award.
