Charlotte Neville received a Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master’s of Education in Psychology in 1983 from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Neville has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1990. She is also a member of the National Association of Forensic Counselors, Master Addictions Counselor endorsement, and a member of the Association For Treatment of Sexual Abusers. She is also included in Who's Who Among America's Teachers--2004.

Prior to coming to MVC, Neville owned and operated an outpatient mental health center. In addition to her teaching load, she runs the Campus Counseling Center.
